More about me.
Hi I'm Sydney, I am a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctor of Acupuncture.
My treatment specialties are in chronic pain, infertility and mental health conditions.
Emphasis on fibromyalgia, damage to muscles from trauma, TMJ, teeth grinding, migraines, car accident body traumas, neck, shoulder, back, knee and hip pain, infertility and menstrual disorders, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
I have loved practicing these medicine and I strive to build lasting client relationships. I hold my professionalism and treatment plans to a high value, so that I can give my clients the best possible care. I also aim to provide healthy recommendations or referrals to encourage my patient’s growth outside their treatment sessions.
My passion for acupuncture and herbs began to grow when I saw the impact it made on my family and loved ones. I saw miraculous impact on mental health conditions, including OCD, anxiety, brain tumors and tourette syndrome. My first experiences with acupuncture were related to mental health, so in my later years, when I witnessed the impact acupuncture had on the physical body for post surgery recoveries and car accident injuries, I was sold, and knew this was what I wanted to dedicate my career to. I am very excited for what the future holds and the research I continue to do on different illnesses. I love giving attention to my patients, making them feel heard and understood, while also producing results.
I am very appreciative for my mentors. I had the opportunity to study under brilliant individuals whom I respect. One of my mentors is a Doctor of TCM and Acupuncture and has a Masters in biochemistry. He taught me the depths of Eastern medicine and also the explanation of Western physiology. This mentor pushed me to understand both Eastern and Western worlds so that I could explain acupuncture to my patients in terms that the patient could understand. He often told me "Everything has an answer and explanation as to why it works, if you don't understand why it works, then you need to push yourself to discover the answer." This encouragement has made me into the practitioner I am today and pushes me to better myself constantly.
I love the opportunity to speak with new patients and referrals. My personal story with Chinese Medicine is one I hold close, and I honor the experiences my patients have had through acupuncture and herbs.
I have much experience in treating a variety of conditions with success and am happy to answer any questions you might have regarding your own personal struggles or injury.
