Infertility

I love being a support for families. It is an honor to be invited on the journey to help improve family health and family production. There are extensive studies that show acupuncture can help improve fertility in both men and women.

Acupuncture helps increase a woman's fertility by improving blood flow to the ovaries and uterus. This improved blood flow helps thicken the lining of the uterus, increasing the chances of conception. It can also correct problems with the body's neuroendocrine system. Acupuncture can activate the brain to release hormones that will stimulate the ovaries, adrenal glands and other organs that are involved in reproduction. In infertile men, acupuncture's effect on the neuroendocrine system, stimulates healthy sperm production.

The study from the Journal of Endocrinological Investigation, found three areas that appear to be more consistently helped by acupuncture treatments: in-vitro-fertilization, men who had infertility issues with no diagnosis and women who are infertile due to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches in detail various conditions that can cause infertility and how to improve a persons condition. It is too much to share on this page, but I will happily discuss in person with you, any questions that you might have. Acupuncture also helps manage the stress of infertility and improves pregnancy rates.

Acupuncture also is a great compliment to IVF and IUI or as an alternative treatment to improve your chances of conceiving.

I have loved working with my clients in regard to their pregnancy goals. It is a very emotional time of joy and hardship.
